Vision+Media

Vision+Media launches a new series of future focused events, designed specifically for the North West’s digital and creative professionals. The schedule of 10 Visionary Sessions promise to inspire, inform and educate those working in the industry, while providing access to the latest technology, trailblazing innovations and inspirational leaders.

The half day events will take place across the North West and have been created to provide valuable future insight for those working in TV, Radio, Publishing, Music, Games, Film and Digital &amp Creative Services.

Lindsey Gayle Taylor, Manager, Digital and Creative Services at Vision+Media comments: “In 2009 we delivered 17 Visionary Sessions, which were attended by over 600 industry professionals. “Our aim is to support those working in the digital and creative industry by making them aware of the latest advancements and opportunities in their particular sector, but we are also presenting them with new ways in which to grow their business by showing them how other markets, for example education, could present a new opportunity.”

The first Visionary Session entitled Developments &amp Opportunities in the Education Market takes place on Thursday 27 May and will highlight the latest trends in the use of digital technology across many platforms inside and outside of the classroom, while identifying the future needs of the education market. Participants will hear from and be able to network with distributors, content producers and potential partner businesses.

Speakers include:Ray Barker – British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), Dr Cathy Lewin – MMU, John Cotton – Findel Education, Tony Tickle – T3d, Jon Wetherall – Onteca, Louise Lynch – Libra TV, Simon Sprince – Focus Innovation Enda Carey – Vision+Media
